Rockwood Capital Taps New Director

New York—Rockwood Capital LLC announced that it has appointed Charlie Leonard as director. In his new role, he will be responsible for East Coast acquisitions and residential, office, retail and hotel asset management.

Leonard is based in the firm’s New York office and reports to Tony Lariño and Dwight Arnesen.

Prior to joining Rockwood, Leonard held a VP role focused on real estate investments and investor relations with CIM Group. From 2006 to 2016, he was responsible for the acquisition and management of stabilized and opportunistic real estate assets in New York and Northern California. Leonard also worked closely with CIM’s global institutional investors across multiple fund platforms.

Prior to CIM Group, he provided senior level real estate financing while working as an analyst for Aareal Financial Services.

Leonard holds a B.A. from Middlebury College.
