New York—Savills Studley announced that audit, tax and consulting firm RSM US LLP has signed a 15-year, 95,000-square-foot lease at The Durst Org.’s iconic 4 Times Square. The firm will occupy the 10th and 11th floors, as well as parts of the 12th. RSM will be downsizing, moving from 1185 Sixth Ave., where it currently occupies roughly 165,000 square feet, according to The Real Deal.
Savills Studley Executive Vice President & Director Richard Schuham and Executive Managing Director Greg Taubin represented RSM in the transaction, while The Durst Org. had in-house representation: Senior Vice President Tom Bow and Vice President of Leasing Rocco Romeo.
“One of the unique features of the building is its 11 terraces ranging in size from 330 to 5,750 square feet. The RSM team will enjoy spectacular views of the Times Square bowtie from their private 10th floor terrace,” Jonathan Durst, president of the Durst Organization, said in prepared remarks.
Completed in 1998, the 48-story high-rise offers floor plates ranging between 38,000 and 55,600 square feet. The building’s leading tenant at the moment is Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, occupying roughly 826,000 square feet. The lease will expire in 2020, however, and Skadden has already signed on as anchor tenant for One Manhattan West, Brookfield Property Partner’s upcoming Far West Side development. The current tenant roster also includes NASDAQ Marketsite and H&M.
