Savills Studley has arranged a lease at Century Center, a 17-building office park totaling 1.5 million square feet in Atlanta’s Chamblee/North Druid Hills submarket. The Council of State and Territorial Epidemiologists (CSTE) will relocate its national headquarters into 23,000 square feet of space at 2635 Century Parkway in August 2018.
The 10-story, Class A office building encompasses 228,158 square feet and features on-site maintenance, 24-hour security, café and ample parking. CSTE, a nonprofit organization specializing in public health advances and epidemiology, will occupy the property’s seventh floor once its current lease at 2872 Woodcock Blvd. expires.
Upgrades ahead
The Savills Studley team of Executive Managing Directors David Rubenstein, Bo Keatley and John Flack worked on behalf of the tenant in the lease negotiations. Landlord Highwoods Properties was represented in-house by John Grimsley.
“Knowing that the FBI would be vacating the entire 2635 building at Century Center, we felt it could be a good option for CSTE. Once we learned about Highwoods’ renovation plans, we knew we found an ideal location,” Rubenstein said in prepared remarks.
Corporate Managing Director Kevin Rodriguez and Managing Director Shannon Price, also with Savills Studley, will serve as project managers for the build-out of the tenant’s new space.
