Located at 8515 W Coal Mine Ave. in Littleton, SCL Health Community Hospital – Southwest offers 37,080 square feet of space. The two-story hospital is one of four facilities that are being built alongside Emerus in the Denver metro, and will offer a wide variety of services to its patients. Emergency medical care, inpatient care, two state-of-the-art operating rooms, an on-site laboratory, as well as radiology services will be available at SCL Southwest.

The four hospitals that are being built by the joint venture are taking shape with the help of contractor Duke Realty. The Littleton facility is the second to open, after the first hospital opened in Westminster earlier this year. The other two are taking shape in Aurora and Northglenn.

First responders, family and community members are invited at a second event on May 28th at the site of the new hospital. The free barbecue will include live music, inflatables, photo booths and other family activities.
