Simon Kick-Starts Allen Premium Outlets Expansion
The North Texas shopping center will add roughly 30 new retailers to its tenant roster.

Dallas—Simon Property Group, an S&P100 company specializing in retail real estate ownership, management and development, has launched the expansion of Allen Premium Outlets in Allen, Texas.
The expansion of the North Texas retail center will include roughly 30 new specialty retailers added near Neiman Marcus Last Call. Allen Premium Outlets will also be renovated and fitted with new seating, play area, Wi-Fi internet access, landscaping and new architectural embellishments. The center is currently home to well-known brands such as Michael Kors, Nike Factory Store, Polo Ralph Lauren Factory Store, Under Armour and Kate Space New York, among others.
“Allen Premium Outlets is a popular destination for the greater Dallas/Ft Worth metroplex’s residents and visitors alike, with a collection of over 100 name-brand stores offering an everyday savings of 25 to 65 percent,” Mark Silvestri, Simon Premium Outlets COO, said in prepared remarks. “Simon is proud to continue to enhance our presence in the area with this expansion and we are excited to bring new, high-quality retailers, restaurants and hotels to Allen.”
A 22-acre plot situated northeast of the center has been rezoned and will ultimately house new restaurants and hotels. The property is also expected to add 1,300 new parking spaces to accommodate the growing number of shoppers. The expansion of Allen Premium Outlets is scheduled for completion by the fall of 2017.
