After its development of the Zayed Research Center in London, Skanska has signed a $185 million contract with Consolidated Developments to build the St. Giles Circus mixed-use development in the West End of London.

Historic Charm

The project is set to include retail, commercial offices, residential and leisure and entertainment spaces. Comprising four new buildings and the incorporation of existing structures, there are plans to include a retained facade and refurbish listed buildings, some of which have been around since 1666.

Construction has already started on the proposed shell and core development and is slated for completion in the first quarter of 2020. Skanska will provide its design, temporary works, construction, piling and foundations and mechanical and electrical engineering services.
