SL Green is partnering with Chef Daniel Boulud to develop a new culinary concept for One Vanderbilt Ave., the 1,401-foot skyscraper anchoring the modernization of the East Midtown Business District in Manhattan.

Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates, One Vanderbilt will comprise an entire city block at the doorstep of Grand Central Terminal, surrounded by Madison and Vanderbilt Avenues. The 1.7 million-square-foot office tower will feature column-free floorplates, unmatched ceiling heights, 360 degree views, expansive floor-to-ceiling windows and a package of modern office amenities.

SL Green recently formed a joint venture with The National Pension Service of Korea and Hines Interest LP for the ownership of One Vanderbilt.

“From the outset of this project, we envisioned that One Vanderbilt would feature one of the best new dining experiences in New York City,” said Marc Holliday, CEO of SL Green, in prepared remarks. “As a globally-recognized gastronomic master, Daniel Boulud is the perfect partner to help develop, at this exceptional address, a top culinary destination regularly drawing business people from across the Midtown business district, residents throughout the City, and visitors from around the world, while also providing a new, unparalleled amenity to our One Vanderbilt tenants.”
