Real estate behemoth SL Green hired Natasha Brown as a vice president, the company announced last week. Brown brings with her more than 15 years of transactional experience representing a wide diversity of prestigious tenants.

In her new role, Brown will oversee daily leasing activity for a 10 building portfolio. Covering more than eight million square feet of space, the properties include 1 Madison Ave., 11 Madison Ave., 1515 Broadway, 485 Lexington Ave., 750 Third Ave., and 521 Fifth Ave.

Prior to joining SL Green, Brown was a senior vice president at JLL for the past seven years where as a tenant broker she was involved in leasing transactions for prominent tenants such as Invesco, Maverick Capital, Reservoir Capital, and Lexington Partners. She was also a portfolio manager for tenants including JP Morgan Chase, Pfizer and Ace American Insurance.

Before that, Brown worked as a tenant representative broker for The Staubach Co., where she successfully completed transactions totaling more than 2.5 million square feet worth an aggregate of $275 million. Prior to that, she was a paralegal with the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.

“Natasha’s knowledge, experience and industry contacts make her a perfect complement to the deep bench of leasing professionals on the SL Green team who know and understand Manhattan’s ever changing real estate market,” said Steven Durels, executive vice president and director of leasing and real property.
