SL Green Names New COO
Since joining the firm 16 years ago, Edward Piccinich has held roles overseeing development, construction, management and capital underwriting within the company.
SL Green Realty Corp. has promoted Edward Piccinich as its newest COO, effective Jan. 1.
Piccinich joined the firm 16 years ago, having previously served as its executive vice president of operations and construction. In his role, he oversaw all development, construction, management and related operational and capital underwriting of SL Green’s existing portfolio and acquisitions, as well as information technology and human resources. He also oversees the construction of One Vanderbilt, an upcoming premier office tower in Manhattan. Prior to joining the firm, he served as vice president at JP Morgan Chase.
Piccinich also serves as a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association, the Real Estate Board of New York, the Urban Green Council and the New York Building Congress.
“Ed is someone we can always count on to get the job done, from complex construction projects to implementing new technologies across numerous properties. He has succeeded in everything he’s taken on at SL Green and he will be terrific in this role,” SL Green President Andrew Mathias said in a prepared statement.
