South FL State Agencies Ink 19 KSF Leases
The Florida Department of Corrections and the Florida Department of Children and Families are the newest tenants at Lauderdale Marketplace in Lauderdale Lakes. Berger Commercial Realty/CORFAC International arranged both leases.
The Florida Department of Corrections has leased 13,263 square feet and the Florida Department of Children and Families has leased 6,000 square feet at Lauderdale Marketplace in Lauderdale Lakes, Fla. The new tenants brought occupancy at the property to 90 percent. Berger Commercial Realty/CORFAC International brokered both deals on behalf of the owner, Marketplace Plaza LLC.
Located at 3708 and 3752 W. Oakland Park Blvd., both office spaces inside the 262,000-square-foot shopping center are within walking distance of important retail facilities such as Aldi, Walmart and Office Depot. Other governmental offices such as the U.S. Army Recruiting Office are also close by.
Berger Commercial Realty/CORFAC International Senior Vice President Joseph Byrnes arranged both leases. In October, the company brokered a retail center transaction in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
