Berger Commercial Realty/CORFAC International has secured a new lease at St. Lucie Design Center, a 57,814-square-foot industrial building in Port St. Lucie, Fla. The tenant, Klima Control Air Conditioning & Heating LLC, will occupy 17,247 square feet, bringing the facility to full occupancy.

The lease marks the company’s third location in Southeast Florida after Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach. Nathaniel Bray of Bray Realty Advisors acted on behalf of the landlord, DBT Properties Investment Inc.

Located at 321 N.W. Peacock Blvd., St. Lucie Design Center is adjacent to Interstate 95 and less than 3 miles west of Florida’s Turnpike. Downtown Port St. Lucie is 6.3 miles southeast and Palm Beach International Airport is roughly 55 miles south.

According to St. Lucie County records, the property is on a 4.4-acre parcel. The 2006-built facility features two dock-high doors, 24-foot clear height and building signage. In addition to Klima Control, the tenant roster includes The Kitchen Guys, Lumber Liquidators, Composite Essentials, Lennox and Straightline.

Berger Commercial Realty/CORFAC International Senior Vice President Joseph Byrnes and Senior Sales Associate Johnathan Thiel represented the tenant in the lease. In May, Byrnes and Thiel were part of the team that negotiated an 11,057-square-foot lease at Prospect Park I in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
