In a continuing expansion initiative nationwide, real estate brokerage and advisory firm Stan Johnson Co. has opened a new regional office in Chicago.

Located at 111 East Wacker Drive, the office is the company’s first presence in the Windy City. It will be led by Brandon Duff and Brad Feller, who have just joined the company. Duff was formerly with Marcus & Millichap’s downtown Chicago office; he will serve as lead broker and associate director. Feller was previously with IBT Group LLC of Chicago and will serve with Duff as an associate.

The company says that its new office will give the firm better access to existing local clients as well as the Midwest real estate community as a whole.

“I’m very excited about the Stan Johnson Company platform,” Duff said in a statement. “In today’s economic climate, a broker must be highly proactive and part of a national coordinated team approach – something this firm provides and something I believe is of the utmost importance in delivering the highest value to a client base.”

When announcing the news, executive managing director Daniel Herrold said that the firm’s expansion into Chicago is part of an ongoing corporate growth strategy that will eventually lead the firm to establish regional locations in the Southeast, West Coast, and Northeast. Stan Johnson began its expansion in late 2008 with the launch of an office in Houston, Tex. The company is headquartered in Tulsa, Okla., and has completed more than $8 billion in transactions nationwide.
