Stantec Promotes 6 in Philadelphia Office

Stantec’s Philadelphia office has promoted several people to new positions across various departments in the company. The design and architecture firm is poised for growth, as more than 20 promotions have been made over the past few weeks, including six leadership-level positions.

Dave Lamontagne is a certified professional engineer who will now take on the role of senior vice president at Stantec. He will be responsible for Stantec’s Programs and Business Solutions Group. As the group’s new leader, Lamontagne will provide consulting and management services for the company’s top clients. During his more than 18 years spent with Stantec, Lamontagne oversaw projects totaling more than $4 billion. Previously, he worked for Urban Engineers as an environmental engineer for five years.

Stephanie Anderson is a LEED accredited professional, taking on a new role as senior principal & managing leader for Stantec’s Project Controls team. Anderson is responsible for the creation of the group she now leads, having had a tenure of more than three years with the company. She will continue to manage delivery of high-risk projects and expand the Project Controls division for a diverse client base. Prior to joining Stantec, Anderson worked as a director of Program Controls at ARCADIS U.S. for more than six years. She also worked as a senior project engineer for Turner Construction for nine years.

Multidisciplinary teams

Megan Holmes takes on two roles: senior principal within Stantec’s health-care sector, and managing leader of the architecture and design group. Some of the new responsibilities enacted upon these roles include planning solutions and all aspects related to project execution when it comes to health care, as well as overseeing operations and service delivery as managing leader. Holmes, who joined Stantec more than nine years ago, has led various projects internationally, including a specialty teaching hospital in the Middle East. Prior to her current tenure, she worked as an associate for Granary Associates for more than five years.

“As we continue to grow within the region, we are proud to recognize this exceptional group of professionals who work tirelessly to ensure our projects leave positive impacts on our clients and communities,” said Holmes in a prepared statement.

Three more Stantec employees will take on expanded or new roles within the company: Todd Kaufmann as sector leader for the firm’s Buildings Program Management team; Jim McPhilemy as managing leader for the same group; and Matthew Eastman as principal.

Stantec was recently selected to assist with civil engineering for an upcoming IKEA store in San Antonio, which is slated for completion in 2019.
