Stark Office Suites Extends Manhattan Lease
The flex space provider will partner with owner Jack Resnick & Sons to implement significant upgrades.

Stark Office Suites has extended its lease at Jack Resnick & Sons’ 110 E 59th St. in Manhattan by 10 years. The flexible shared office space provider occupies the building’s 22nd and 23rd floors.
Along with the renewal, Resnick and Stark have agreed to partner on upgrading the 26,568 square feet the latter occupies at the property. The renovations will include improvements to the reception, common areas, meeting spaces, kitchenettes and restrooms.
Stark Office Suites has opened its first locations in 2004 and has since grown to 13 flex office spaces across New York City, Westchester, Long Island and Connecticut.
The Manhattan Tower on 59th Street
Completed in 1969 by Resnick & Sons and designed by W. M. Lescaze, the high-rise on 59th Street comprises 612,181 square feet of office space across 37 floors. The property is located just off Park Avenue in the Plaza District, across from the subway stations on 59th Street and Lexington Avenue. Its tenant roster features Zelnic Media Capital, Royalty Pharma, Cantor Fitzgerald and Estee Lauder The property was awarded the LEED-Gold certification for operation and management, according to CommercialEdge information.
The ownership is marketing several floors at the Manhattan office tower, 13,283 square feet each, including the penthouse floor. As of November 2024, there were 273 coworking locations in Manhattan, totaling 11.3 million square feet, a CommercialEdge report shows. Trailing behind Manhattan, Chicago and Washington D.C. comprise 6.8 million square feet and 6.7 million square feet, respectively, out of the 136.3 million square feet of flex office spaces across the U.S.
