Ascend Growth Partners acquired Staybridge Suites Plano Frisco, a 101-key hotel in Plano, Texas, from Granitepark-Parkwood LLC.
Located at 8355 Parkwood Blvd., the asset offers easy access to Dallas North Tollway, Highway 121 and multiple bus stations. The property is also situated within a few miles from various shopping centers, including The Shops at Legacy, Preston Creek Shopping Center and Preston Village Shopping Center. The hotel features an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center.
CBRE’s Senior Vice Presidents Michael Yu and Rahul Bijlani, along with Agrama Mannapperuma with CBRE Hotels, negotiated the deal on behalf of the seller. “The Plano North/Legacy market is among the most active areas in the state for new developments and economic growth,” Yu said in prepared remarks.
The sale comes about a month after WroldVentures expanded its lease at Legacy Tennyson Center, a two-building Plano office campus, roughly two miles and a half from Staybridge Suites Plano Frisco.
