StorageMart Expands Footprint in Nebraska
The company added 433 units to its self storage portfolio. The newly purchased facility is situated in Omaha, 9 miles from the city’s downtown.

StorageMart has acquired Cornerstone Storage, an 83,950-net-rentable-square-foot facility in Omaha, Neb. Bellomy & Co. arranged the sale on behalf of the Omaha-based seller, and also procured the buyer.
The facility occupies nearly 6 acres at 6099 Irvington Road, near Freeway 133 and Interstate 680, 9 miles from downtown Omaha. The area is surrounded by many apartment communities, including the 192-unit Irvington Heights and the 192-unit Blair Commons, which is under construction.
The 13-building facility was built in five phases between 1988 and 2017 and offers 433 units, ranging from 25 to 200 square feet, Yardi Matrix data shows. The storage asset also features a satellite location, which offers 49 units for boat and RV storage. Additionally, the buildings feature drive-up access, security cameras and climate control.
Bellomy & Co.’s brokerage team included Principals Bill Bellomy and Michael Johnson. In September, the team also arranged the sale of Steelcreek Self-Storage, a 93,300-net-rentable-square-foot facility in Wichita, Kan.
