The company acquired the two Marriott-brand properties and plans to upgrade both hotels. The TownePlace Suites Denver Southwest provides convenient access to downtown Denver.

Sun Hill Properties Inc. has acquired two Colorado hotels under the Marriott umbrella. The properties include the 99-key hotel The TownePlace Suites Denver Southwest and The TownePlace Suites Colorado Springs Garden of the Gods, a 94-key property.

Located at 10902 W. Toller Drive, in Littleton, Colo., The TownePlace Suites Denver Southwest consists of a three-story building offering convenient access to various shopping, dining and entertainment venues including the Denver Botanic Gardens and Eagle Meadows Park. Common-area amenities include a barbecue and picnic area, on-site laundry, beauty shop, valet dry-cleaning service, fitness center, business center and an outdoor swimming pool.

The TownePlace Suites Colorado Springs Garden of the Gods, located at 4760 Centennial Blvd., offers convenient access to Pikes Peak, hiking trails, cycling competitions and other activities. Common-area amenities include a business center, barbecue area, valet dry-cleaning service, local restaurant delivery, car rental, fitness center and seasonal outdoor swimming pool.

The buyer has built partnerships with the local community and plans to invest in renovations for both properties. Marriott has recently opened a new TownePlace Suites hotel, a 101-all-suite property in Clarksville, Tenn.
