Anderson, S.C.—Techtronic Industries, a global designer, manufacturer and marketer of consumer, professional and industrial products, is expanding its Power Equipment Group’s operations in Anderson County, S.C. The $75 million investment is expected to create 250 new jobs in The Upstate region of South Carolina over the next several years. TTI is building a new 300,000-square-foot innovation center.

“Continued investment in our people and product innovation is pivotal to TTI’s success. This new world-class campus will provide an exceptional environment for fostering the development of talented associates and industry-leading products,” said Mike Farrah and Lee Sowell, presidents of TTI’s Power Equipment, Power Tool and Outdoor Products groups, in prepared remarks.

This latest project adds to the company’s 1.3-million-square-foot, $85 million expansion, which was announced last year and completed this year. Founded in 1985 in China, TTI has continuously expanded, now employing more than 20,000 people worldwide.
