The Agency, a real estate brokerage and lifestyle company, has opened its Los Angeles office in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood. The new office will occupy Suite D2, roughly 3,000 square feet, of The Atrium Building at 860 Via De La Paz St. Led by Principal Santiago Arana, the Pacific Palisades branch will be the company’s 10th location worldwide.

The 34,533-square-foot office building is situated in the heart of Pacific Palisades’ commercial district known as The Village. Completed in 1980 and renovated in 2007, the three-story property features an atrium with a wraparound balcony, as well as a three-level subterranean parking garage. According to Property Shark data, Pali Office Investments LLC acquired the asset from Resource Capital Corporation in 2014 for $11.4 million.

“We have seen a significant uptick of $3 million and above home sales in the Palisades,” Santiago Arana, The Agency Principal, said in prepared remarks. “Opening our Pacific Palisades office is a natural expansion of The Agency and will allow us to service clients in this thriving market.”

The Agency’s new office opens less than two months after Hudson Pacific Properties has completed the sale of a 50,687-square-foot office redevelopment and two acres of land in neighboring Santa Monica, Calif.
