The Davis Cos. Appoints New EVP

Dante Angelucci took up the leadership role within the company's development-focused branch, The TDC Development Group. Prior to joining the company in 2015, he worked at Massachusetts Convention Center Authority and Leggat McCall Properties.

The Davis Cos.-owned The TDC Development Group has selected Dante Angelucci as its newest executive vice president, a newly created position. In his new role, he will focus on expanding the company’s development branch, working closely with the investment team in acquiring and executing strategic repositioning opportunities.

Angelucci possesses more than 18 years of commercial real estate experience, having contributed to the development of a $2 billion portfolio of real estate projects throughout New England. His client portfolio includes Liberty Mutual, MassDevelopment, Forrester Research, Massport, MITIMCo, Guardian Life Insurance, Partners Healthcare and Fidelity Investments, to name a few.

Vast experience

Prior to this role, Angelucci served as the firm’s senior vice president of development, where he contributed to the construction of several major projects, including the Omni Boston Seaport Hotel and 112 Shawmut in Boston, as well as the Alewife Research Center in West Cambridge, Mass. He also served as the deputy director of development and construction of Massachusetts Convention Center Authority in 2015 and Leggat McCall Properties’ senior vice president & principal from 2008 to 2015. He was also assistant district attorney in the Norfolk County and Middlesex County District Attorney’s Offices.

The recently appointed executive has a J.D. from the Massachusetts School of Law and a B.S. in criminal justice from Northeastern University. He is a member of Weston’s Permanent Building Committee and of NAIOP, where he previously held a chairman position. He was a member of the board of Children’s Advocacy Center of Suffolk County and a member of the United Way’s Real Estate Breakfast committee.
