New York—Leading real estate firm RKF recently announced that it has arranged the lease of 700 Broadway in NoHo, a 5,700-square-foot New York retail space ready to become Time Warner Cable’s second ‘Experience Store’ in Manhattan. The landlord was represented by RKF Vice Chairman Ariel Schuster and associate Brandon Berger, while Annette Healey, CBRE, represented TWC.
Slated to open in mid-2016, the new Time Warner playground sits at the corner of Broadway and E. 4th St., strategically situated right next to the New York University, between SoHo, Greenwich Village, and Union Square. The store will occupy 3,200 square feet on the ground floor and 2,500 square feet in the basement, with RKF continuing to market an additional 10,500 square feet on the ground level and second floor.
Showcasing TWC’s experimental retail concept, the location will display a bright and open floor plan ready to welcome consumers into an interactive environment where they can learn about and apply a hands-on approach to products and services.
“The proximity to NYU, as well as residential neighborhoods around Washington Square Park and SoHo, makes this a perfect location to connect with the local community and student population,” said Ariel Schuster of RKF in prepared remarks.
Cable and internet giant TWC opened its first Manhattan flagship ‘Experience Store’ in March 2014. Sitting at 43 W. 23rd St. in the Flatiron District, the 14,000-square-foot, open-plan retail location will serve as a model to TWC’s most recent New York addition.
