Transwestern to Lease, Manage San Antonio MOB
Velocis' recently acquired medical complex is currently 75 percent occupied to health care providers including Baptist Health System, MEDNAX, BB&T and the Center for Healthcare Services.

Velocis has selected Transwestern San Antonio to handle the leasing and property management services for Legacy Oaks Medical Plaza. The 224,262-square-foot medical office complex will be leased by Senior Vice President Ken Adams and Senior Associate Licia Shreves.
“We are excited to work with Velocis to implement new leasing and management strategies at Legacy Oaks Medical Plaza, including additional building amenities, incentives for new tenants and competitive rates,” Adams said in a prepared statement.
The seven-building Legacy Oaks is located at 5360-5430 Fredericksburg Road in San Antonio’s northwest submarket, adjacent to the South Texas Medical Center. The asset has been recently renovated and is 75 percent leased to a mix of health care providers such as Baptist Health System, MEDNAX, BB&T and the Center for Healthcare Services. The facility features on-site management, above standard parking capabilities, signage opportunities and high visibility.
“With extensive capital improvements and a prime health care location, Legacy Oaks already has superior groundwork laid for long-term success. Transwestern brings extensive on-the-ground market expertise, and we are pleased to partner with them to build on Legacy Oaks’ existing momentum,” said Jim Yoder, principal at Velocis, in prepared remarks.
