Tru by Hilton has opened a new location in Las Vegas, near McCarran International Airport. The 166-key hotel is currently the largest to operate under Hilton’s Tru brand and is the eighth one to open in the U.S.
Tru by Hilton Las Vegas Airport is located at 6862 Gilespie St., next to a Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel and minutes away from McCarran International Airport. The rooms range in size from 231 to 399 square feet. Guest amenities include a large lobby room with work, play and eating areas, fitness centers, a 24/7 market, as well as a customizable breakfast. Additionally, the hotel boasts constant connectivity, with multiple Wi-Fi amenities, such as a digital check-in and key.
A complimentary shuttle service is available 24 hours a day, with stops at McCarran Airport and the Vegas Strip. Guests can reach downtown Las Vegas in about 15 minutes, with access to all the entertainment options, restaurants and shops. Other nearby attractions include Shark Reef Aquarium, Sky Zone Trampoline Park, the Las Vegas Golf Center and Town Square Park.
Large development pipeline
The hospitality company’s newest brand is one of the largest in terms of planned development, with 470 hotels in the pipeline, including three recently-announced properties in Canada. Tru by Hilton Las Vegas Airport is owned by the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and managed by Prism Hotels & Resorts.
“Tru by Hilton is a true pioneer in the midscale segment, and the very first to meet the needs of a previously undeserved group of travelers who seek simplicity and value without compromising quality and design. This property opening is a testament to our robust pipeline, and we look forward to continuing this momentum heading into 2018,” said Alexandra Jaritz, global head of Tru by Hilton, in a prepared statement.
