Moody Rambin has signed a roughly 19,000-square-foot lease with UBS Wealth Management USA at Town Centre I, a Class A office building in Houston. The branch will relocate to the new space on March 1, 2019.
Located at 750 Town & Country Blvd., Town Centre I comprises 250,000 square feet within the Town Centre Complex in West Houston. The 10-story asset is LEED Gold certified and was completed in 2015. UBS’s new office will take up the building’s fourth floor, where it will house 60 employees, responsible for approximately $6 billion in client assets.
Modern and artistic
Plans for the new space include a modern, open-plan design with large windows, up-to-date technology, complete with artwork from UBS’s signature collection and the ‘three keys’ symbol in the reception area. The branch is relocating from Galleria Financial Center located at 5065 Westheimer Road. Earlier this year, Clipper Americas agreed to consolidate its Houston headquarters at Town Centre I.
“Our goal is to bring the vast resources of the world’s leading wealth manager to our local clients and residents within the Houston area”, said Craig Vandegrift, market head for Houston at UBS Wealth Management USA, in prepared remarks. “… It is a vibrant part of the city that is growing at a rapid pace and our new office in Town Centre I shows our strong, long-term commitment to the area”.
Town Centre is part of the 4.6-acre Town & Country Village Lifestyle Center and City Centre that encompasses 2.2 million square feet of mixed-use space. In addition to Town Centre I, the complex includes a parking garage and the Queensbury Theatre, a 21,000-square-foot auditorium that has been operating at the site since 1981. A 150,000-square-foot, eight-story office building dubbed Town Centre II is planned for future development.
