Hot on the heels of the opening of Virgin Hotels Chicago, Virgin Hotels’ first hotel development, the company has released details regarding Virgin Hotels Nashville, the brand’s second location. Slated to open in fall 2016, the hotel will feature 240 keys, 15 residential penthouse units and a bevy of high-end amenities, including a Michael Cronin-designed recording studio.

The project is comprised of two high-rises connected by a glass walkway. According to The Tennessean, the 19-story tower will comprise the for-sale penthouse units and the cutting-edge recording studio, while the 16-story component will house 240 hotel rooms and the amenities. Bearing the iconic One Music Row address, Virgin Hotels Nashville will boast 14,000 square feet of meeting space, a fitness and wellness center and a rooftop pool complete with bar and restaurant. The hotel will also include The Commons Club, the Virgin Hotels’ signature venue, a bar/lounge, study and restaurant hybrid, complete with live entertainment venue.

The development team includes Nashville-based construction management firm D.F. Chase Inc. and Atlanta-based architecture firm BLUR Workshop. Virgin Hotels will manage the hotel after completion. The development will be owned by CK Global LLC, an entity led by D.F. Chase, executive vice president of D.F. Chase Inc. As previously reported, NV Music Row LLC, an entity headed by David Chase, was already assembling the necessary land for development in April 2014, when the project was first announced.

Virgin Hotels plans to open a location in New York in summer 2017 and is exploring options in London and dynamic U.S. markets such as Los Angeles, Miami, Dallas, Boston and Austin.
