Waste Management Relocates Phoenix Branch
The environmental services firm will move its local branch to Union Hills Office Plaza by the end of the year. Waste Management selected Perkins+Will to design its new location.

Union Hills Office Plaza in Phoenix
Waste Management Inc. will relocate its Phoenix office from 221 N. 48th Ave. to a full floor of the Union Hills Office Plaza. The environmental services company is set to occupy more than 47,000 square feet by the end of the year.
Located at 2550 W. Union Hills Drive, the 143,000-square-foot office property is situated just off Interstate 17 and features an 18,000-square-foot data center. Tenants include Regus, Tata Consultancy Services and Greenwood Hall. Artis REIT owns the three-story building, Ryan Cos. serves as property manager and JLL as leasing manager. According to Yardi Matrix data, Artis REIT acquired the property from Pacifica Real Estate Group in 2011 for a little more than $27 million. Union Hills Office Plaza was completed in 2007 and offers 700 parking spaces.
Savills Studley negotiated the lease on behalf of the tenant, while JLL represented the landlord. Waste Management selected Perkins+Will to design its new Phoenix office. The lease includes signage rights and food truck-accessible dedicated outdoor space.
Earlier this year, Savills Studley relocated its Dallas office to the 48th floor of Chase Tower in the city’s CBD.
