Austin, Texas—Westlake Dermatology recently debuted its eighth location in the Austin area. Westlake founder Dr. Gregory Nikolaidis chose Highland Resources’ Class A, mixed-use Lamar Central development for the new location, signing a ten-year lease for approximately 3,280 square feet of retail space on the building’s ground floor. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
“Our team is thrilled to better serve Austin with the new location at Lamar Central,” said Dr. Nikolaidis in a statement. “It offers high visibility, parking for staff and patients and allows us to be in the heart of the medical district.”
The new location faces Lamar Boulevard and features resort-style design by Michael Hsu Office of Architecture. The new dermatology practice includes six treatment rooms and retail space for skin care and cosmetic products.
“We’re excited to welcome Westlake Dermatology, a best-in-class cosmetic-care provider, to the tenant mix at Lamar Central,” said Eric DeJernett, CBRE senior vice president and lease representative for Highland Resources. “In addition to medical and cosmetic services, it will bring boutique retail to Lamar Central, including full lines of skin care products and cosmetics.”
Move-in is scheduled for summer 2016. Additional tenants at the site include Kendra Scott Design (opening March 2016), Snooze Eatery and Chameleon Hospitality.
