Westmount Names New Director of Property Management

Ginny Goldsmith has more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate. She is specialized in property management in the industrial and office sectors.

Westmount Realty Capital LLC announced that Ginny Goldsmith has joined the company as director of property management for office and industrial. In this position, Goldsmith will provide leadership and a strategic direction for the company’s property management team, which oversees a portfolio of 10 million square feet of industrial and office space nationwide.

“Westmount is focused on expanding its industrial and office portfolio and strengthening its asset management capabilities and Ginny will play an integral role in helping us to achieve our goals,” Clifford Booth, president & CEO, said in a prepared statement. “Ginny’s property, construction and financial management experience with robust industrial and office portfolios will be a valuable asset to our team and our investors.”

With more than 15 years of experience in commercial real estate, Goldsmith has previously worked as senior property manager at Colony Financial, where she managed tenant relations, construction and maintenance for more than 4.5 million square feet of light industrial space in Dallas and the surrounding submarkets. Prior to that, Goldsmith spent 10 years at Sealy & Co. as senior property manager for office and industrial. She started her real estate career at Franks Real Estate, managing a 25,000-square-foot professional building. Goldsmith is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and served on the organization’s board for several years. IREM rewarded her with the 2012 Committee Chair of the Year Award, the Champion Award (2012-2014), the 2013 Rising Star Award and the 2014 President’s Award. Goldsmith received the Certified Property Manager designation and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
