Westmount Welcomes New Director
Andrew Martin has 10 years of investment management and commercial real estate experience, with a focus on raising capital. In his new role, he will work for the company’s private capital investors.
Westmount Realty Capital appointed Andrew Martin as director of private capital. In this role, Martin will work as an operating partner for the company’s private capital investors.
“Westmount is focused on expanding its portfolio and raising capital for commercial real estate investments and Andrew will play a key role in helping us achieve our goals,” Clifford Booth, president & CEO of Westmount, said in prepared remarks.
A 10-year track record
With 10 years of experience in commercial real estate and investment management, Martin focused on raising capital. Most recently, he served as vice president of business development at PTX Securities, where he raised capital for Sealy Strategic Equity Partners. Prior to this, Martin worked as regional sales director at Highland Capital Management. Along the years, he held various positions at Realty Capital Securities, Palladian Capital Advisors and Behringer.
Martin started his real estate career as a senior associate at Transwestern. He received a bachelor of science degree in finance from the University of Colorado’s Leeds School of Busines. Martin also holds FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses and is a licensed real estate professional in the state of Texas.
Earlier this year, Westmount named Jim Fant as executive managing director of acquisitions.
